Entry into the park is being controlled through fixed date tickets and a lottery system for annual passholders.
UNITED STATES RESORTS
At the current time, the US border remains closed for non-essential travel to Canadians. Check requirements in your home country prior to booking a vacation at a US-based Disney resort.
As of July 30, 2021, guests are required to wear masks indoors in all US-based parks.
In fall 2021, a new add-on to the Disneyland app and MyDisney Experience app will launch called Disney Genie. This new app has a free version and a paid version (the paid version allows for Lightning Lane, or the new FastPass replacement service). This new app will change how you use the current app versions and book attraction and dining options.
Disneyland Resort - Anaheim, CA
The Downtown Disney district and theme parks are currently open using a park reservation system.
Parades, fireworks, and entertainment have made a return to both theme parks.
As of July 30, 2021, guests are required to wear masks indoors.

All character spots and parades are not currently running. Parades and character meetings have been replaced with cavalcades through each park at random times during the park hours. Extra magic hours are scheduled to resume in a new modified form as of October 1, 2021, and add-on evening parties are operating on a modified basis.
Disney Springs and Boardwalk Area Are Open
Disney Springs and the Boardwalk area are both open.
Disney Transportation

All resort hotels are scheduled to open by December 2021, with the exception of the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser opening in 2022.
Disney resort guests will no longer receive complimentary Magic Bands, and extra magic hours have been replaced with an early entry of 30 minutes to all four theme parks each day..
It’s also important to note that entry into an open theme park is not guaranteed if you stay on property and you’ll be subject to the same reservation system.
The Disney Dining Plan is scheduled to return, although no date for its return has been provided.
Pin Trading
Trading with Cast Members has been temporarily paused during COVID-19. Pin Boards are still available at select locations in Disney Parks, Disney Resorts, and Disney Shopping Districts. For some general guidelines, visit our Disney Pin Trading During COVID-19 page.
