DISNEY DINING PLAN (DDP)
NOTE: The Disney Dining Plan is temporarily suspended.
There are 3 different dining plans available at Walt Disney World that are designed to consider guest dining preferences. The Dining Plan is an all or none option on your resort reservation, meaning that you will need to take the same Disney Dining Plan for all guests aged 3 or over in your reservation party in order to use the Disney Dining Plan.
There are many advantages and drawbacks to selecting a Dining Plan option add-on to your vacation reservation, and maximizing the benefit of a dining plan, requires substantial research and planning on your part.
It is important to remember that the Dining Plans factor in food purchase costs across the property and that you will often need to search out the most expensive items within your plan tiers and use each credit for it to be a worthwhile investment. If you will not eat enough food at the higher end of the price scale for each credit, it may not make sense for you to include a Disney Dining Plan.
Below is a summary of each Disney Dining Plan:
Disney Quick Service Dining Plan
The Disney Quick Service Dining Plan includes 2 quick service meal credits and 2 snack credits each day per guest. Included with the meal credits is a single alcoholic beverage for each person over the age of 21 and non-alcoholic specialty beverage for minors. A refillable resort mug is also provided for each guest that can be used at Quick Service beverage islands at any Disney Resort hotel.
